Waterproof and Bacterial Barrier Protection in a Comfortable Foam Dressing. Hydro-Shield Foam Dressings help keep external contaminants away from the wound and are waterproof. Waterproof backing allows the patient to bathe and helps prevent strike-through. Backing is a bacterial barrier to help keep harmful contaminants away from the wound. Microporous hydrophilic structure of foam provides excellent absorption and retention, even under compression. Available with or without an adhesive border to accommodate unique wound needs.
