User driven, these units feature a wide array of output combinations to help get the settings "just right". With times ranging from 15 or 30 minutes to continuous mode, user can pick the setting that's right for them. They also feature three modes: B(Burst), N(Normal), and M(Modulation). The pulse rate, pulse width, and amplitude are adjustable to lessen acute pains due to an accident or chronic conditions such as arthritis or other joint and muscle conditions. I really have not tried it yet. The first one I received was delivered by Fedx and the box was totally damaged. The Maxtens 2000 was broken and it was in pieces. I spoke with Roger who was very helpful and an suppose to be getting another one. So we will see, if this one is in the same condition as the first one I will want my money back and will forget about it. I am hopeful I will be able to use it.

Easy to order, reasonably priced. The product is very effective at managing my lower back pain and preventing episodes to the point where I no longer need to take pain medication.

I never rate any product before I have had it for a while...Reason, some items seem awesome on day one...And are broken shortly after...This TENS unit seems to be made very well and does not look cheap at all.. A few months ago I purchased a TENS unit (a different brand) from the internet and it was very little, light, looked cheap, and after a few uses, would send random high jolts thru you and get your attention...Think about how hysterical that is when your back makes it hard to move...lol..Having said that, if this one does not malfunction, I believe I will be very happy with it....And I was AMAZED at how fast the item arrived...Less than 24 hours it was on my door step at a time when I really needed it, but did not even expect it so soon....

Just got it this afternoon and tried it and lower back pain has diminished quite a bit. Planning on using it when needed.
