Product Overview

The Lopez Valve is a stopcock-like device, which allows the health care worker to access Enteral systems without breaking open the lines. This closed system protects the health care worker from exposure to bodily fluids that may carry blood borne pathogens such as HIV and Hepatitis C, and saves nursing time. Also facilitates continuous gastric irrigation, permits the administration of medications via feeding tubes, and increases absorption of those medications by avoiding medication mixture with enteral solution.

It was indeed a Lopez Valve that was sent to me, but it wasnt the one that was described when I ordered it. I received Lopez Valve style number M9000. The valve I wanted was the M9000T, the tethered cap lopez valve. In the features section, it says the it's tethered. That is the one I want: Features: ? Closed System Device ? Protects Healthcare Workers ? Saves Nursing Time ? Increases Medication Absorption ? Tethered Cap How can this be resolved ?
