Medline has developed Exuderm, a range of sterile hydrocolloid wound dressings designed for all stages of wounds. Each product creates a moist environment to encourage wounds to heal. Exuderm OdorShield Dressings have an odor absorbing technology combined with excellent fluid management.
Waterproof dressing is designed to protect wounds against external bacterial contamination Manage light to moderate exudating wounds while maintaining dressing integrity Low profile, tapered edge resists roll-up Smooth, satin-backing is practically friction-free for longer wear Absorbs odor with cyclodextrin technology Not inactivated by wound protein Manages drainage Longer wear time Low residue formula Protective, occlusive barrier Satin finish backing Pressure ulcers Partial and full-thickness wounds Leg ulcers Donor sites Wounds with light to moderate drainage Lacerations and abrasions First and second-degree burns Third-degree burns Exuderm OdorShield can be left in place for up to 7 days Dressing change frequency will depend on amount of drainage
